***** the rules *****
it is a leaderboard. sorted by money.
no ads. no algorithm. no submission review. no "quality score". rank is the bid and nothing else, forever, until the credit card companies stop us.
- rule 1 — money go up, you go up
- highest bid is #1. second highest is #2. we know this is not a sophisticated system. that is the point.
- rule 2 — there is no rule 2
- there are, in fact, several more rules. we lied in the heading to make it funnier. keep reading, sorry.
- rule 3 — five dollars gets you on the board
- whole dollars only, $5 minimum, $1 at a time. bidding under #1 still lists you, just further down, where the light doesn't reach.
- rule 4 — you can raise your own bid for the difference
- put in the same link with a bigger number and you only pay the gap. nobody else can steal your rank by paying that gap. that would be rude.
- rule 5 — ties go to whoever paid first
- if two people bid the same amount, the earlier one stays on top. time is a flat circle, but it's also a tiebreaker.
- rule 6 — your bid never goes down on its own
- once you've paid, that amount is yours. somebody outbidding you doesn't cost you anything, it just makes you sad.
- rule 7 — query strings get deleted
- no affiliate tags, no utm laundering, no referral links, no link shorteners. we strip it all. the link goes where the link goes.
- rule 8 — products and profiles only
- a website or an X @handle. no telegram/whatsapp/discord invites. no porn. this is a board for AI startups, which is arguably worse, but it's ours.
- rule 9 — app stores are keyed by path
- two different apps on the app store are two different listings. two different pages on your marketing site are not. nice try.
- rule 10 — no refunds
- you paid money for a spot on a leaderboard. you knew. we knew. everyone knew.
